Drop Duchy confirms Nintendo Switch release date, new trailer

The Arcade Crew and Sleepy Mill Studio returned today with an update on Drop Duchy: Complete Edition as we now have the release date. Nintendo Switch owners can pick it up on April 21, 2026.

Drop Duchy, which was first developed by Sleepy Mill Studio, was announced for Nintendo Switch to kick off the year. The block-dropping strategic kingdom building hybrid will land on the platform with DLC included.

As a reminder, here’s what to expect:

Drop Duchy challenges leaders to thoughtfully build their lands by dropping blocks containing forests, plains, rivers and structures for their people (think Tetris meets Carcassonne). Clever placements make the difference between reaping bonus rewards and advantages for your people or falling to the mercenary camps eager to end your rule.

Drop Duchy – Complete Edition launches day one with the previously released The North and The Tribe DLCs included, offering the definitive way to play for soon to be rulers. With over 110 cards to unlock and new, fresh combos to discover every run – Drop Duchy offers endless replayability.
