Chromagun 2: Dye Hard launch trailer – puzzle-shooter comes to Nintendo Switch 2
PM Studios and Pixel Maniacs have shared a launch trailer for Chromagun 2: Dye Hard. This week, the vibrant puzzle-shooter ended up on Nintendo Switch 2.
ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard evolves the award-winning formula of its predecessor, immersing players in a kaleidoscopic multiverse of monochrome chambers. By wielding the signature ChromaGun, players shoot and combine primary colors to manipulate the environment, unlock doors and neutralize hostile drones. Featuring smarter puzzle designs, expanded color physics and environmental threads, the sequel delivers its most ambitious, brain-bending 3D experience yet. The new story reveals the origins of Chroma Technology and its enigmatic corporation behind it, adding narrative depth to the signature absurdist charm.
ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard reimagines puzzle realities with ever-changing rules and visual styles, from comic-book labs to sci-fi facilities, keeping each challenge inventive and unpredictable. Players interact with WorkerDroids, beams, tools and switches in flexible systems that support multiple solutions, encouraging experimentation and creative play. Set in the dangerously pristine world of ChromaTech Industries, the game’s stylized presentation and humor blend clever problem-solving with off-beat charm, evoking the spirit of Portal with the zaniness of Psychonauts.
