Wii U eShop

q-bit Games and Sleepy Sheepy have provided Nintendo Everything with a first look at their new indie project, “Machete Brawl”.

The title will be released on Wii U and PC later this year. It acts as a follow-up to the original Machete, a game that hit PC, Mac, and Linux just a few months ago.

Machete Brawl begins as the family of Groz’g Island sets up a tournament to win the Mighty Golden Carrot Trophy. You’ll be able to play as one of the family members to fight your way to the trophy through different stages, including a mushroom cave and a castle.

Weapons, bonuses, and maluses will all be a part of the mix, and each stage will have its own enemies and power-ups.

On Wii U, Machete Brawl will offer up to 5-player multiplayer with asymmetrical gameplay on the GamePad. You can also expect fast-paced multiplayer fighting action with jet-packs and carrot guns.

q-bit says creating the game for Wii U “was a no-brainer for us since Nintendo is our first love.”

Fuzzy Wuzzy Games has sent out a precheck version of Armillo to Nintendo. It’s another step towards the game’s release, which is expected to take place next month.

Fuzzy Wuzzy shared the status update on Twitter a few moments ago, while also noting that Miiverse integration will likely be added to the game in a future update.
