Defender of the Crown The Legend Returns

Defender of the Crown: The Legend Returns is now in development for Nintendo Switch, Nordcurrent Labs and Black Tower Basement revealed today. Launch timing for the console will be shared later.

Defender of the Crown: The Legend Returns celebrates the 40th anniversary of the strategy game. It preserves the original experience while bringing it into the modern era, and with some new features.

7th Guest Remake

Vertigo Games has revealed that it’s working on The 7th Guest Remake for Nintendo Switch. No specific date yet, but the game is planned for 2026.

This is a full-blown remake of the mystery-puzzle game. Live-action video performances are included.

Today, Mintrocket shared the release date for Dave the Diver’s In the Jungle DLC and revealed a physical release for Nintendo Switch 2.

The DLC, which provides roughly ten hours of content, is slated for June 18, 2026 worldwide. Dave will be venturing into new territory with new encounters and mechanics.

Shardpunk

Today, Retrovibe and Retro Vibe made it known that they’re putting Shardpunk on Nintendo Switch. We have a confirmed release date of March 26, 2026.

Shardpunk is a game with turn-based tactical strategy, RPG, survival, and resource management elements. Players will gather their team, scavenge for resources, fight enemy hordes, and seek shelter to live another day.

Dread Delusion release date

We have a quick update on Dread Delusion as DreadXP and Lovely Hellplace just shared the Nintendo Switch 2 release date. The game launches on March 17, 2026.

Dread Delusion, an open-world RPG, was only just announced for Nintendo Switch 2 last month. DreadXP gave a Spring 2026 launch window as part of that news.

Publisher NIS America has announced that a demo version of its upcoming title, Etrange Overlord, is now available ahead of the game’s launch on Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2026.

Players can experience the first couple of hours of Etrange Overlord, witnessing the fall (and rise) of the titular Étrange von Rosenburg. During the demo, you’ll meet new allies, learn about the game’s unique lane mechanic, and try out several characters as you progress through to Stage 2-4. As the developers put it, “even hell can’t stop her.”

It’s also been confirmed that all save data from the demo will carry over to the full game upon release with the day-one patch.

A native version of Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered has just launched on Nintendo Switch 2, accessible on the eShop. While the game was technically available via backwards compatibly from the Nintendo Switch release, this is a brand new version for the new console supporting enhanced resolution of 1440p at 60 FPS docked and 1080p resolution at 120 FPS in handheld mode. Those who own the Nintendo Switch version will be able to upgrade at no extra charge in a free update coming soon.

That’s not the only piece of news we have here. A new Challenge Mode has also just been made available on all platforms as well, and it also contains new outfits with upgraded abilities, a level modifier to challenge your skills, and all new achievements to earn.

Here’s some additional information about the update:

Formula Legends has received a brand new update from developer 3DClouds. While the patch is already available on other platforms, the team has confirmed that the Nintendo Switch version will receive the update at a later date.
