Digimon Story: Time Stranger will be receiving major DLC, Bandai Namco and Media Vision revealed today. That news was just announced at Digimon Con 2026.

This week, Nintendo Switch 2 received what was its biggest system update so far. There was a good amount added and improved, but the most significant feature was the inclusion of Handheld Mode Boost. When turned on, it forces Nintendo Switch 1 games to be played as if they were docked when playing portably. If you’re primarily a handheld player, this is a significant feature as it can give you a better image on-screen.

Have you gotten around to trying out the Handheld Mode Boost on Nintendo Switch 2? Which games have you tested? Let us know in the comments.

The latest Famitsu review scores for the week of March 21, 2026 are as follows:

It’s been a little while since we last reported on some Nintendo Switch games that have been fixed for Switch 2 for backwards compatibility, but a new batch is in. Most of the titles here were addressed in conjunction with the most recent system update.

There are some big names that have been fixed, including Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe. For this one specifically, while it was functional, Nintendo previously noted that users may encounter audio issues – though thankfully, that won’t happen any longer.

Below is the full list of backwards compatibility fixes for Nintendo Switch games on Switch 2 for March 2026:

It’s still all about Pokemon FireRed and Pokemon LeafGreen this time around. MLB The Show 26 was a new release, but wasn’t able to overthrow those two classics and lands at #3. Pre-loads have started for Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection and it starts off at #11 – we’ll see where it ends up over the next week or two with its full launch.

We’re closing in on a pretty big change for GameChat on Nintendo Switch 2 as in just a few days, the service will no longer be free.

Since the launch of the system last June, everyone has been able to use GameChat. However, that will soon no longer be the case. Nintendo will be requiring users to be a Switch Online member. This will go into effect after March 31, 2026.

Best Mario games ranked

Nintendo recently celebrated its favorite holiday, MAR10 Day – which means there’s no better time to rank the mainline Super Mario titles. For reference, this only includes games that the company considers to be “main series”, which generally includes 2D Mario and 3D Mario, but not Wario Land or Yoshi’s Island (even though the former was called Super Mario Land 3 and the latter Super Mario World 2). It also includes Super Mario Run, for whatever reason, and as you might expect that game is nowhere to be found on our list.

Before you read, keep in mind that this is of course a heavily subjective list, and it’s more to promote all of you ranking your own lists in the comments down below than anything else. Feel free to share your thoughts after you read our top ten!
