Nintendo has updated the Japanese Switch and Switch 2 release schedule on eShop for the week of April 2, 2026. Various new titles are on the way, highlighted by Pokemon Champions, Darwin’s Paradox, and People of Note.

The latest Nintendo Switch eShop charts for the week of March 28, 2026 are now available.

Once again, it’s Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen leading the charge this week. That said, the games did have some competition with Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection launching with Capcom’s release coming in at #4. Marvel Maxmium Collection also just came out and ends up at #13.

Switch 2 handheld mode boost games

Well, it’s finally happened – after writing about it in editorials for almost a year, Nintendo has gone ahead and fixed the Switch 2’s biggest flaw, being that all unpatched Switch 1 software looks blurry in handheld mode. Up until now, Nintendo has addressed the situation by issuing Switch 2 Editions of its games that increase performance. That said, though, this isn’t a solution for every single Nintendo Switch game – some third-party developers that made games no longer exist, for instance, which means some titles will never receive Switch 2 patches. So today, we’re looking at five games that currently don’t have Nintendo Switch 2 patches that benefit from the new Handheld Mode Boost feature.

CD Projekt Red recently published its latest financial results and it includes an interesting look at the platform sales split for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Even in 2025, the Nintendo Switch version was still selling. PC had by far the highest percent of sales at 55 percent, but Nintendo’s console contributed with 10 percent. That’s actually the same percentage as Xbox. Also, it’s not terribly far off from PlayStation’s 25 percent.

Limited Run Games has come out with a launch trailer for Marvel Maximum Collection, which just came to Nintendo Switch. Between all of the different versions, you’re getting 13 different titles.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection 1.0.5 update

A new version 1.0.5 update was released this week for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection. If you have the Nintendo Switch 2 or Switch versions, it’s available to download now.

There’s a good amount here including Room Codes, which “give you total control over who joins your online private lobby.” Players can also filter available rooms based on a player’s online connection strength. Also included is versus AI and Fixed AI difficulty for all Genesis, 32X, and SNES versions, expansion of the Kombatants section of The Krypt, performance improvements, and more.

Digital Extremes has published an official graphics comparison video for Warframe on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

The game has been on Nintendo’s previous console for a few years now. However, a Nintendo Switch 2 version just released this week. Needless to say, it’s significantly improved on the new system.

Eyes of the ElderWood

Forever Entertainment and Virtual Sanctuary intend to launch Eyes of the ElderWood on Nintendo Switch, they’ve announced. For the time being release timing is being kept under wraps. 

Eyes of the ElderWood is a first-person horror adventure game tied to Kashubian folklore. Players will draw spells to solve puzzles and take down enemies, or fight with a revolver.

Capcom has issued a launch trailer for Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection. The package includes Mega Man Star Force Pegasus, Mega Man Star Force Leo, Mega Man Star Force Dragon, Mega Man Star Force 2 Zerker x Ninja, Mega Man Star Force 2 Zerker x Saurian, Mega Man Star Force 3 Black Ace, and Mega Man Star Force 3 Red Joker. The DS games also have some new features.
