Butterfly: Inchworm Animation II coming to the North American 3DS eShop on October 27

Several years ago, Flat Black Films made the DSiWare app Inchworm Animation. The company is now returning with Butterfly: Inchworm Animation II, a successor for the 3DS eShop.
It’ll have the following features:
– Revolutionary looping motion graphics engine with 30 frames-per-second playback. Draw as it plays!
– Eight endlessly-configurable dynamic brush tools with custom presets
– Timeline with up to 5 layers and 2 soundtracks, for scripting events and sound effects
– Use stereoscopic 3D to arrange your layers in the third dimension. Give your movies true depth!
– Record and edit Audio, use the built-in sound -effect library or the groovy sound-effects generator!
– Shoot video, time-lapse, and stop-motion photography
– Onionskin (including video onionskin for stop-motion)
– Slick antialiased brushes with full 24-bit color and transparency
– Import from Nintendo Camera / Export to SD
– introducing the Butterfly Online Gallery! Share your movies with the world – upload/download animation, rate and comment on work. Host your own virtual art studio at www.butterflyanimation.com!
Inchworm Animation II will be out on October 27 in North America for $5. European and Japanese releases will also follow. We’ve posted a trailer for the title below.
Circle Entertainment localizing Touch Battle Tank 3D-4: Double Commander soon

Touch Battle Tank 3D-4: Double Commander will soon be localized for both North America and Europe, courtesy of Circle Entertainment. Moreover, it’s in lot check, so we should be seeing it sometime within the next few weeks.

Touch Battle Tank the newest version is coming to Nintendo lotcheck. This is new evolution of its series, key word will be Tag Combat .

Wii U and 3DS eShop experiencing issues due to heavy traffic

Are you unable to connect to the Wii U or 3DS eShops? There’s a reason for that. Nintendo’s maintenance page states that users may encounter issues loading the shops due to heavy traffic.
The Pokemon Sun/Moon demo just made its way to Australia and Japan, so that’s likely the cause here. Additional issues may pop up tomorrow once North America and Europe have access to it as well.

Nintendo now offering eShop birthday discounts to those in Europe as well

A few months ago, My Nintendo added in birthday discounts for North American members. Nintendo has been sending out emails with a select lineup of games that can be purchased on the eShop for 30 percent off.
The same offer is now extended to Europe as well. As of this month, if you registered for a Nintendo Account (with a linked Nintendo Network ID) and opted in to receive promotional emails from Nintendo, you’ll receive a notice during your birthday month.
The current lineup of games to choose from are as follows:
