There’s been an interesting development with the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4 as the game has now been spotted at retail.

You may originally recall that the port was planned for release last October. However, it was delayed just a few days before release. Then in February, we heard that development had been paused. That brings us to the latest update today.

A user on Reddit has shown pictures of Borderlands 4’s Nintendo Switch 2 game-key card release. While the game is legitimately recognized by the system, there’s no data to download. That makes sense as the launch doesn’t seem to be happening any time soon. Copies do come with a code for the Gilded Glory Pack.

Below is the full set of photos:

It’s tough to really make anything of this at the moment. If nothing else, perhaps it’s a sign that Borderlands 4 will eventually launch on Nintendo Switch 2.

Are you still hoping that we’ll see this title on Nintendo’s console? Let us know in the comments.
