Best-selling games of January 2026 in the U.S. on Nintendo platforms

New data from Circana gives us a look at the best-selling games of January 2026 specifically on Nintendo platforms.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A keeps its streak going at the #1 spot. Final Fantasy 7 Remake, a new release, sits right behind it. Also worth noting is that Animal Crossing: New Horizons went from #21 previously to #4 this month.

Here’s the full list of best-sellers on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch for January 2026:

4. Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo

7. Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 – Nintendo
8. Mario Kart 8 – Nintendo
9. Minecraft – Nintendo
10. Hogwarts Legacy – Warner Bros. Games
