Circana has released a listing of the top ten best-selling games in the U.S. for the month of February 2026.

This was a big month for new releases with a few games appearing for the first time. Perhaps as expected, Resident Evil Requiem is #1. We also see Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined at #7 and Mario Tennis Fever at #11. Note that Nintendo does not report digital data which factors into their rankings.

According to a report from Japanese outlet Nikkei, Nintendo will release an updated Switch 2 model that features a replaceable battery for the European market.

The move would come in accordance with European Union legislation so that consumers can easily replace the battery themselves. While this is targeted at the European market, similar policies could take place in Japan and the United States “if consumer awareness of the right to repair increases,” Nikkei says.


Nightdive Studios has just come out with a new version 2.1 update for System Shocks, which brings performance, content, and feature parity across all versions. including big improvements for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

The team says that “performance has been significantly improved” on both platforms. There are also stability and visual improvements.

Rogolf

Seabird Interactive has shared the news with us that its new game Rogolf will be appearing on Nintendo Switch soon. The title is planned for April 2, 2026.

At its core, Rogolf is a minigolf-roguelite game. It supports various control options including the Joy-Con, touchscreen, and Pro Controller. We’re also hearing that a patch should be made available around release to fix some bugs and add more levels.

Fatal Frame 2 Remake 1.03.02 update

Koei Tecmo has announced the first post-launch update for Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake, which will be version 1.03.02. Nintendo Switch 2 owners should be able to download it now.

The new update makes a number of different balance adjustments. These include nerfs to Aggravated Wraiths and some Onryo.

Trombone Champ Deltarune Chapters 3 + 4

Trombone Champ is still alive and kicking, and Holy Wow Studios has been working on a new update that brings music from Deltarune Chapters 3 + 4 to the game. That boosts this DLC to 21 tracks.

The focus for Trombone Champ has been the PC version, so things are running a bit behind on Nintendo Switch. That means the Deltarune Chapters 3 + 4 tracks aren’t live on the console yet, but they should be in the future. Holy Wow says it’s “trying to bring the DLC to the Nintendo Switch version of the game ASAP.”

Even more content is coming to GigaBash with the just-revealed Final Ascension DLC. Nintendo Switch owners can grab it starting on March 26, 2026.

The DLC is highlighted by Gaya Gigaman and Zargorah as playable characters. The game is also receiving two new maps, new music, and a new Story Mode chapter.

Monsters ’til Midnight is a steampunk survival pixel art game. Either alone or with a friend, you’ll face the legions of evil and survive until the clock strikes midnight.

Today, Two Cakes Studio and Satellite235 announced their new project Stellar Freight: Endless Horizon. Nintendo Switch is getting the game down the road.

Stellar Freight: Endless Horizon is a sci-fi roguelike with tactical turn-based combat. You’ll take on the role of a space trucker fighting to stay alive in a galaxy at war.
