Publisher Dear Villagers and developer True Colors have announced that Calx, previously known as Xtal, is coming to Nintendo Switch. However, no release window has been shared at this time.
The title is a 3D action-adventure game with a strong science-fiction theme. Its experience flows between moments of calm and bursts of intensity. Periods of silence give way to frenetic combat in a wave-like rhythm — contemplation followed by action, before returning once more to stillness. Art and music work hand in hand: hypnotic visuals shape the game’s soundscape, while the music breathes life into the art itself.
