Animal Crossing is the latest Nintendo game to be used in White House post
Another Nintendo game has been used in a social media post from the White House, and this time it’s Animal Crossing’s turn.
National Agriculture Week 2026 recently just took place with National Agriculture Day specifically happening on March 24. The White House felt that Animal Crossing was a good fit to promote this, and decided to feature the franchise in a piece of art (pictured above).
A short clip was also shared online. We’ve included that below.
Nintendo as well as other media franchises have been used in past White House promotions. Earlier in the month, the Wii, Wii Sports, and Wii Sports Resort were in social media posts for Operation Epic Fury. We’ve also Pokemon Pokopia used in a meme. Other than that, there was a situation involving Pokemon and DHS last year.
Nintendo did not comment on the White House’s use of Wii earlier this month, so the company will probably be doing the same this time around. This is a bit different from The Pokemon Company’s approach. Following the Pokemon Pokopia situation, a statement was released, which you can find here.
