Goonya Monster to receive 4 spin-off games on Nintendo Switch next week
Four titles spinning off of Goonya Monster have been announced to be heading to Nintendo Switch. All four titles are set to launch digitally on April 27, 2026.
Goonya Monster is a 2022 asymmetrical 3 vs 1 multiplayer action game, in which a group of 3 “Busters” face off against 1 “Monster”. The four announced spin-offs are based on characters from the original game, and utilize much simpler controls for a casual play style. The four upcoming titles are Octo’s Balloon challenge, Snail’s Knock Out!, Toad’s Soul Hopper, and Pirarucu’s Money Rush.

Octo’s Balloon Challenge
One day, for reasons unknown, Souls begin raining down from the sky…!?
To uncover the mystery, Octo and Goonyan took off to the skies… using balloons!This spin-off mini-game from Goonya Monster stars the series’ main character, Octo.
Catch the falling Souls and keep them from spilling by using balloons to control the tilt of your container—then soar as high as you can!Simple controls!
Move left and right while launching balloons to stay afloat.
It’s easy to pick up, but your sense of balance will be put to the test!
Fun and accessible for players of all ages.Master the art of balloon control!
Choose the size and placement of your balloons to keep your container balanced.
Focus too much on one side, and it will tilt—sending your Souls tumbling down!Souls stack in sets of 10!
Collect 10 Souls to bundle them into a compact box.
Then, combine three boxes to clear them and earn a score bonus!Gotta collect them all!
Miss 7 Souls, or fall more than 500 meters, and it’s game over.
