Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok to host open beta test next week, introductory movie released
An open beta test for Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok is planned for next week, April 24 – 27. The full game will be launching for Nintendo Switch 2 on July 9, 2026.
This is following the closed beta test held last month, though it seems that this new one will have support for more regions.

■ About the Open Beta
This beta is intended to let players experience the new Summon mechanic while helping us verify network performance, game functionality, and identify and resolve in-game issues prior to launch. We’ve also prepared a short survey for all participants. Please take a moment to share your thoughts after playing—your feedback is greatly appreciated!As this game’s development is still in progress, its content may differ from the retail version. During the open beta test, you may encounter bugs, connection issues, freezing, or crashes. Thank you for bearing with us!
How to Participate
This beta is open to all players on our supported platforms. Simply download the game from your respective platform’s store and launch the game once the beta begins!

Preloading begins on April 23, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. UTC.
Open beta begins on April 24, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. UTC.
*If you already have the closed beta application installed, you can participate by installing the open beta update.
*A Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to participate on Switch 2.
*A PlayStation Plus subscription is not required to participate on PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4.
*The Steam version requires the installation of the Steam client.Playable Content

- Quest Mode (four available)
*Only Tutorial Mode and Quest Mode are playable during the open beta.
*Online multiplayer is available for all quests in Quest Mode.
*Local wireless play for Switch 2 is available during the open beta.
*Quest Mode contains the same three quests available during the closed beta.
*The new Summon mechanic can be unlocked upon completing the three quests, and can be used in the newly added fourth quest.
*If you participated in the closed beta test, quest completion progress from preexisting save data will be carried over to the open beta test. Gear and party composition will not be carried over.New Feature: Summons
Summons allow players to call upon a multitude of mighty powers to change the tide of battle—and now they’re yours to wield in the open beta.
Using Summons:
- First, equip summons from the main menu to use them in battle.
- Then, while questing, use link attacks or Skybound Arts to fill the summon gauge, which is shared by the whole party.
- Once filled, call your summon to wreak devastation with your favorite civilian, monstrous, or primal allies!
