[Let’s Talk] Your longest gaming session
We have a simple question for you this week: what’s been your longest gaming session?
Obviously most players won’t be timing how long they’re playing a game. That said, there might have been instances in which you’re so immersed that the hours just slip away. This can happen for a variety of reasons: you’re engaged in the gameplay and/or story, wanting to finish a title that’s on the shorter side in just one night, and more.
So what’s been the longest gaming session you can remember? Have you ever pulled an all nighter to see something through to the end? Let us know in the comments.
Highlights from last week’s topic: What are you playing? – April 2026

Got peer pressured into playing 100 line last defense academy so I’m locked into another really good 100+ hour RPG. I’m also playing shin megani tensei 4 and I just beat halo odst a few hours ago
Narrator 1
Legends Z-A. It’s not my favorite game. But finally being able to transfer creatures to and from Home gives it a new lease on life.

The Mario Galaxy movie made me like Star Fox again, which made me pick up Starlink again.
Kyoko
Pokopia!
I’m finally learning how to make nice-looking thing, so I’m busy with the first zone.
Also playing DKC Returns. Bought the game because they added Dixie, but I didn’t play as her lol
I decided to 100% the game using Diddy to have a classic experience, but I will use her the next time I play the game.
I am currently playing on Mirror mode, and man, I’m not sure I will make it. I think Mirror mode is overall easier than Tropical Freeze’s Hard mode because it has checkpoints, but at the same time, it has some levels that are extremely hard to not get hit.
Specifically the K-Level from the cliffs (7 world I believe) where the lava is rising and some bosses.
Am not sure if I still have the patience to keep trying after being killed 50+ times on single level.

Currently doing a weekly rotation of three games. Donkey Kong Bananza, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Though I will soon start Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment), and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.
Those first two have gone unfinished for too long, especially Zelda.
Once one of those is finished, it’s back to Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition as part of the rotation. (I have the NS2 Edition Upgrade Pack installed and waiting for me. ^__^)
